The Japan-based P-Vine label has partnered with Rita Marley Music to release a slew of unearthed acetate dubplates, outtakes, and live recordings from the Marley estate, and those recordings are now seeing release on limited vinyl editions.
So far this volume is the most interesting, featuring rare, vintage lo-fi dubs of Bob Marley and the Wailers' early 70's material. The recordings straddle the group's work as Jamaican producer Lee Perry's marquee artists, and the subsequent launch of their own recording and publishing empire under the Tuff Gong banner.
