Roy Buchanan was a true master of the Fender Telecaster guitar. The Rolling Stones wanted him to replace Brian Jones, and Eric Clapton asked him to play the guitar for Derek & The Dominos - but he turned down both offers.

In the 60's Roy Buchanan got married, moved to Washington D. C. and worked as a studio musician for more than one hundred album productions, and in the 1970s released a string of major-label studio LP's.

Burned out by the grinding demands and creative constraints of mainstream showbiz, Buchanan took the first half of the 80s off. This double live LP documents Buchanan's revitalized return to touring and recording as an independent artist.
