The Casuals formed around 1965 at DC's Cardozo high school. The lineup shuffled numerous times over the following decade-and-a-half, with the two constants being Cardozo alums Harrison "Skip Mahoaney" Hoaney (lead vocals) and James Purdie (producer, composer, arranger).
