Black Uhuru's first LP after Junior Reid replaced Michael Rose on lead vocals. It dared to be different, between Reid's dancehall instincts and Sly & Robbie's cocky experimentalism, not to mention the global tyranny of new wave music.
Part recorded at Lion and Fox Studios and released by RAS Records -- both based in Washington, DC at the time -- it generated an enduring classic in "Great Train Robbery" and other favorites including the title track, "Let Us Pray" and "Fit You Haffe Fit".
