"Are You Ready: The First Studio Recordings (Inner Ear – March 1979)" is the raw, blistering calling card that announced the band's arrival on the scene, and with it the birth of DC hardcore.
Mixed by Ian MacKaye, the release features Darryl Jenifer's “duct-tape logo” both on the cover and on the Side-B etching. The package includes liner notes by Alec MacKaye plus a double-sided insert with rarely seen images from the Bad Brains archive.
