Roy Buchanan was a true master of the Fender Telecaster guitar. The Rolling Stones wanted him to replace Brian Jones, and Eric Clapton asked him to play the guitar for Derek & The Dominos - but he turned down both offers.
In the 60's Roy Buchanan got married, moved to Washington D. C. and worked as a studio musician for more than one hundred album productions, and in the 1970s released a string of major-label studio LP's.
This LP documents Buchanan at the height of his powers in extended jams on a live recording that perfectly conveys Buchanan's inimitable six-string voice.
