Live recording from an anti-war rally staged in DC's Lafayette Park in June 1972. A veteran of the radical electrified jazz sessions of Miles Davis' Bitches Brew--and further energized by the explosions of free jazz, fusion, and the anti-war movement itself--organist Larry Young put together this adventurous group to make a fiery musical statement.

Although the recording went unreleased for decades, it became legendary for personally freaking out President Richard Nixon--who was across the street in the White House while the band performed, and who allegedly asked his Chief of Staff to shut off the power source to the stage.

This limited edition pressed on translucent green vinyl, and includes an 8-page insert with notes and photos from the anti-war movement. It is limited to 150 numbered copies.
