The EP includes newly recorded versions of "Kingston Town", "Man Next Door" and "No Place Like Home", recorded with Max Romeo's touring band during a break between gigs on tour in France, and mixed by Dennis Bovell.
Dennis Bovell has been the eminence of British reggae for more than 40 years as a producer and bass player, founding member of the 4th Street Orchestra, Matumbi, the Dub Band, Audio Active, and as no less than the godfather of UK lovers rock.
Max Romeo, a pioneering voice of roots reggae, is best known for his iconic songs with Lee 'Scratch' Perry (1936-2021) including "War Ina Babylon", "Chase The Devil" and "One Step Forward". His intent was to seize on this latter-day collaboration of legends to pay tribute to his late friends John Holt and Lord Creator.
