As musically disruptive as its title and artwork suggest, Revolution Dub was the final page in the Black Ark's first chapter. It's an experiment in stripping tracks to their sonic marrow, and using whatever found or improvised tools at hand to grind them into a mind-bending mess.
From rhythms like "Woman Got To Have Love", "I Never Had It So Good", and "Bush Weed Corn Trash"--to tracks that would later form backbone of Max Romeo's classic "War Ina Babylon" LP, you can hear the Black Ark sound begin rounding into form.
