Guitarist, composer and loops magician Anthony Pirog is an ubiquitous force on stages around his hometown. Anthony grew up taking inspiration from the work of D.C. guitar heroes Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan, and he builds on their foundation of virtuosic technique that blends all styles of popular music. Working in straight and experimental jazz, improvisation, electronics, and DIY/alternative, Pirog has mastered these styles individually and makes them all work together.
